Marching Band

"The Pride of Phillipsburg," as the announcer says before every football game halftime show, the marching band is comprised of students from 8th through 12th grade.  Sections within the band include the brass, woodwinds, drumline and front ensemble. Band camp begins in August, two weeks before schools starts, preparing students for the marching arts, in which they learn the field show drill and music.  The marching band performs at all games, home and away, in the stands and on the field.  Throughout the season, the band also competes and  participates in community events, such as parades. The band is proud to present its 2024 production, "Wake Up!", featuring "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence, "Where's My Mind" by the Pixies, After Dark by Forrest Avery Carney and original music by Jeff Chambers.

Sections of the marching band include brass, woodwinds, drumline and front ensemble.

Dance Team and Color Guard

The color guard is a vital part of the marching band, interpreting the music and energy of the field show through dance, often using props, flags, rifles and sabres.  When not on the field during football games, the color guard serves as the dance team, performing choreography to the band's stand songs, hyping up the crowd and football team
